Deftly Support

Help with the Deftly exam-preparation app

Deftly helps you prepare for professional certifications (currently PMP and AIGP) in short daily sessions. If something is not working or you are unsure how something behaves, start here — and if the answer is not below, email us and a person will reply.

Contact us: deftlapp@gmail.com
We aim to reply within 2 business days. Telling us your device, app version (Profile → bottom of the screen) and what you expected to happen gets you a faster answer.

Account and sign-in

Do I need an account?

No. Every learning feature works as a guest, fully offline. Your progress is stored on your device. Signing in is optional and exists to back up that progress so it survives a lost or replaced phone.

How do I sign in?

Profile → Sign in to sync. You can use Google, email, or — on iPhone and iPad — Sign in with Apple.

My email sign-in link did not arrive

Sign-in fails or shows an error

Confirm you have a working internet connection, then close and reopen the app and try again. If it keeps failing, email us the exact error text and we will look into it.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and all synced data from our servers. You can also request deletion without the app at deftly-app.pages.dev/delete-account.

Learning and progress

My progress disappeared

Progress is tied to where it was made:

Why is a level locked?

The first level of each of the first three units is free. The rest of the path, including Super Levels, opens with the one-time Certification Path purchase for that certification.

What is a Super Level?

A retention check that closes each unit. It mixes up to 20 questions drawn from every level in that unit, and unlocks once you have finished them all.

Why did my mastery not go up after a session?

Mastery is not accuracy. It counts concepts you have held across different question formats and across days — answering the same idea correctly twice in one sitting is not yet mastery. The percentage moves as concepts hold up over time.

Switching certification

Profile → Certification. Each certification keeps its own path, progress and purchases; switching never deletes anything.

Purchases and refunds

What is for sale?

One-time purchases only. There are no subscriptions, nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.

Purchases are per certification: buying the PMP path does not unlock AIGP.

I paid but nothing unlocked

Open the Plans tab and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Google or Apple account you purchased with. If it still does not unlock, email us with your store receipt and we will sort it out.

I reinstalled the app — do I pay again?

No. Tap Restore purchases on the Plans tab.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by the app store, so refunds are handled there, not by us:

If a refund is refused and you believe something went genuinely wrong on our side, email us and we will help.

Reporting a bug

Email deftlapp@gmail.com with as much of the following as you can:

The app version matters more than it sounds — it tells us whether you have already got a fix we shipped.

Feedback and suggestions

Inside the app: Profile → Feedback. It goes straight to the team. Tell us what is working, what is not, and what you wish existed — requests genuinely shape what gets built next.

Privacy

Deftly runs without an account, shows no ads, and uses no third-party tracking. Full details in the privacy policy.
